SLOPIES by Lammetje

1,000 ex-office workers · blind mint

AI took their desk job.
Now they fix your sink.

Every Slopie used to have a nice office job. Then a chatbot did it in four seconds. Now they unclog toilets, flip burgers and chop wood. Most of them hate it. Some secretly love it.

If ETH goes wild before December 3, the price moves with it. Blame the AI.

MINT 1 SLOPIE

You don't know who you'll get. Neither do I. Just like getting replaced.

A Slopie at work as a Blacksmith
Used to be an Accountant. Now a Blacksmith.
Used to be a Copywriter. Now a Window Cleaner./ Used to be a Data Analyst. Now a Lumberjack./ Used to be a Product Manager. Now a Janitor./ Used to be an Accountant. None of these will exist.

Each head is generated at mint from your transaction. These are just examples: yours will be different, and nobody knows how. Not you, not me, not the AI.

Two phases. Short ones.

PHASE 1 · 24 HOURS

Collectors

If you ever collected my work: thank you. You get in first, and cheaper. The AI didn't get a discount. You do.

PHASE 2 · 2–3 DAYS

Public

Everyone else. Your job is probably next anyway, so you might as well get a Slopie to cry into.

When the mint closes, supply is locked at whatever was minted. No second round. No reveal later. What you mint is what you get.

50 jobs. Most of them common.

The job decides the scene, the uniform and the one stupid thing they're holding. Eight traits on every head: Job, Hair, Eyewear, Look, Mouth, Face, Earring, Tattoo.

Legendary One job. Very, very rare. Say my name.
Rare Fast Food Worker · Ice Cream Vendor · Lifeguard
Uncommon Miner · Florist · Beekeeper · Farmer · Pilot · Musician
Common The other 40. Plumbers, bakers, bus drivers, a janitor who finally gets noticed.

Used to be a Graphic Designer. Now a Fast Food Worker.

Questions nobody asked.

Can I see them before I mint?

No. The head is made from your mint transaction, so it doesn't exist before that. Not even I know. Right after you mint, there it is: your Slopie, its job and the one it lost.

How many can I mint?

Up to 10 per wallet, 1,000 in total. Leave some for the other people who lost their job.

Which chain?

Ethereum mainnet.

What do I get?

A little head, its new workplace, and its story: the job it lost and the job it got stuck with. That's it. That's the whole thing.

What if it doesn't sell out?

Then there are fewer. When the mint closes, the supply is locked at what was minted. No second round.

Did you really use AI?

Yes. To write the code that draws them, from my own Genuary head. Every line style, colour and joke was argued over. The AI still didn't get paid.

No game.
No coin.
No roadmap.
No bullsh*t.

Okay, maybe a game. If I ever get enough tokens to burn.

No metaverse. No "season 2". Just little heads who lost their desk job. Most of them are still mad about it.

It started as one head I drew for Genuary. Then the AI took my job too and I had time.

Yes, I used AI to make this. A series about AI stealing jobs, made with AI. I'm aware. I'm not okay.
